Poll: Can Button take back to back titles in 2010?

Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button

Jenson Button recently spoke to the BBC where he stated that he now plans to take the challenge to the next level, by trying to win back to back championships in 2010. This would be a first for a British driver, with Button claiming that neither him nor the team are “One hit wonders”.

Graham Hill and Jim Clark both won the title twice, and Sir Jackie Stewart three times, but none of them managed to claim back-to-back championship wins. Can Jenson?

Did Schumacher deserve the penalty?

Brawn won’t have a year head start for next year, and they seemed to make the car worse as this year went on by upsetting the balance. They won’t be one of the best teams, but I think they’ll be battling for best of the rest with Red Bull.

Considering this years car was a ‘bodge job’. (Cutting 6 inches from the chassis to fit the merc engine and not having an ideally position gear box), the 2010 Brawn car should be better balanced than the 2009 car and hopefully will perform better!!

rooleymoor says it all…It literally a miracle they won the Constructors and Drivers Championship. Ross Brawn IS amazing. He should be knighted!

  4. Boris says:

They had first crack at new regulations last year by sacrificing the latter half of the 08 season. They were just competitive for the last half of this year. There is no element of surprise anymore. By that logic, Ferrari should be favourite to win next year. Winning the second one is always harder than the first – they are now the hunted rather than the hunter.
