  1. Mark says:

It’s got to be one of the most ‘unconfirmed’ line-ups in the 25 years that I’ve been following F1! Only one team definitely staying with the same line-up as in ‘09 – and I guess not surprising given the consistency shown this year by Sauber. It’s a long way off, but surely they’ve got to start as favourites for next year? McLaren will likely be strong if they manage to get a decent car sorted for the first race, and I think there’s every chance of that.

Much as I love the team, I worry that Brawn will drop back next year. They found such an advantage with the diffuser in the early part of this season which pretty much put Button beyond reach by the half-way stage, I can’t see them finding another technical breakthrough with the same benefit for next season. And having had to focus so much on securing the championship(s) over recent months, with Brawn’s relatively limited resources, they might be behind with the development of the 2010 car. Though, as I say, I hope not as the team’s been a breath of fresh air. It would still not surprise me at all to see Button move to McLaren…the PR coup of two British world champions might be too much to ignore. It might even turn me into a McLaren fan…

Good to see the Lotus name back in F1, though I hope the new team performs better than the last few years Lotus did during its previous life. A black and gold colour scheme would be neat..!

  2. Scott says:

Most of the money seems to be on Glock going to Renault rather than Kovi

  3. Where can we see Anthony Davidson getting a drive? If anywhere?

  4. John Deardon says:

Really the Loti should be red and Gold like the original Gold Leaf cars or maybe Bristish Racing Green…..

  5. Updated to remove Toyota from next season.

  6. Steve says:

Hasn’t Glock signed with Renault, or am I imagining things?

  7. No, Glock hasn’t signed with anyone officially yet.

  8. Steve says:

Ah, my mistake – thanks for clarifying and for keeping this page updated, a great resource to keep up to date as we move towards the 2010 season.
